What is the cost for standard shipping?:
Shipping costs $9.95 for orders under $75. Orders $75 and over ship for free.
My order is over $75. Why am I being charged shipping?:
Items that must be shipped via freight or less-than-truckload (LTL) are not eligible for Free Shipping. Those orders will be charged a flat freight rate of $89.
What shipping service is used for standard shipping?:
In most cases, our standard shipping option means your order will ship with UPS Ground.
B&S Online carries similar parts to what I need, but I can't find the exact part I need. Might you have the part I need in stock?:
Yes, there is a possibility if it's by a brand that we have. You may contact us at briggsandstratton@outdoorpowerdirect.com and we can assist you in finding the part that you need.
I need to repower my equipment with a new engine, but I am not sure which engine model will fit. Can you help?
Yes, definitely! Simply fill out our Repower Form, and a certified technician will get back to you with your repower options.
Who do I contact for information about a part or my order?

How do I qualify for Tax Exempt status?
Tax exemption must be setup with us prior to making purchases. Unfortunately, if you make a purchase before following the steps below, sales tax will not be reimbursed or refunded. To set that up:
1. Create a customer account on our website using your email address here: https://shop.briggsandstratton.com/account/register
2. Send us an email with the name & email address you used to create your customer account and attach a copy of your tax exemption certificate. Our email address is: briggsandstratton@outdoorpowerdirect.com
3. Wait for approval. We will verify your certificate and update your new customer account as “tax exempt”. We will let you know when the update has processed so you can login to your account and make your purchase.
Please note: The first time you return to our website you may have to log out of your customer account and then log back in for the update to take effect. Additionally, you must be logged in for all future purchases in order for sales tax to be excluded from your total.
